General Policy

Please note, by purchasing any of our items, you are agreeing to our company terms and conditions, return & exchange policy, and shipping information. Please read through these prior to purchase.

 

► DESIGN APPROVAL
• Wedding invitations, save the dates & on the day stationery all come with three rounds of digital proofs where you can review your designs prior to them being printed by us.
• We can continually tweak the designs until you are completely satisfied.
• Further proofs after the initial 3 can be purchased for £6 each.
• You will need to approve your designs in writing before we print anything.
• After your approval to print, we no longer accept responsibility for spelling errors or misinformation.
• It is your responsibility to check all spellings, information etc on your designs prior to approval.
• Once you have approved your designs for print, no further changes can be made.

► GENERAL POLICIES
• Our items are handmade, so no two will be identical. Bulk purchases are trimmed down within a precision of 3mm bleed on each side, meaning each item may have slightly different measurements.
• When items are trimmed to size, the edges may be left with minuscule imperfections. This is not a fault of the product, but an element of a handmade item.
• Colours may appear differently depending on a number of factors, such as your screen resolution, as well as the cardstock we choose to print on. This is not a printing fault.
• We cannot guarantee a colour match between prints purchased at different times.
• We cannot guarantee a colour match between items ordered from other suppliers.

► WEDDING ITEMS
• We offer a large number of bundle options depending on your requirements. Please see individual listings for further information.
• Bespoke bundle options can be discussed via email prior to placing an order - we're happy to adapt our bundles for you.
• Bundles 3 and 5 will be assembled on your behalf as standard, unless you have requested the design have a blank space for you to handwrite your guests names onto the page, or have purchased guest name printing whereby assembling the item would not allow you to view who the invitation belongs to or write the names on.

► DELIVERY
• Delivery of your item(s) will take place at the address given by you on your order.
• You must message us prior to dispatch/label creation to change your address.
• We cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date, but we will do our best to get your order delivered by the date you require it.
• You shall take all the necessary arrangements to take delivery of the goods.
• If the courier gives you an option to leave your item(s) in a safe place, please note they will have you sign a responsibility waiver, meaning you are 100% responsible for your items. If items left in a safe place are subsequently found to be stolen, lost, or damaged we cannot replace them free of charge.
• If the courier cannot deliver to your address multiple times, they will return the package to us and you will be liable for redelivery costs in order for us to resend the items back to you. If you no longer want the items that have been returned to us, we will refund the cost of the items (providing they are not bespoke/custom/personalised), but we will not refund the original shipping cost. If your order was purchased with 'free delivery', the actual cost of delivery will still be deducted from any refunds due.
• Any damages, lost parcels, or shortages should be reported to us within 14 days of signed receipt to enable replacement or refund. Unfortunately we're unable to assist you after 30 days have passed.

► IT'S NICE TO BE KIND
• We have a strict, zero tolerance policy when it comes to rudeness, blackmail or extortion. We will therefore not converse with anyone who sends threatening or slanderous comments.
• In the unlikely event that there is a genuine issue with your order, just send us a nice message! You will have our undivided attention should you need it if there's an issue.
• Anyone found to be breaching these rules will not only be ignored, but legal action may be taken in severe cases.

► RISK
• Risk of the goods shall pass to the buyer upon receipt of the goods.
• Our items, including our packaging, are unsafe for animals and young children.
• We advise to keep our items and packaging out of reach of young children and animals, for their own safety.
• Foxes on Boxes Limited does not take any liability for any injury, damage, or even death as a result of not adhering to this advice.

► THIRD PARTY COPYRIGHT
• You are responsible for gaining permission to use any photographs, hymns, poems or songs that you would like to feature on any of your stationery items.
• Any photographs, hymns, poems or songs, etc., supplied by you, for reproduction and sale, will be accepted as full permission to do so. You agree to indemnify Foxes on Boxes Limited for any repercussions, and you will be responsible for any illegal repercussions undertaken due to incorrect licensing or breach of copyright laws.
• Example: your engagement shoot photos will need written permission from your photographer to use on your save the date cards.

► CANCELLATIONS
Please refer to our 'Payment' and 'Returns' policies for information our cancellation process. We are required by law to give you a cancellation form to copy & paste to us. Please note if your order has already been dispatched, it’s unfortunately too late to cancel the transaction, and you would need to read our Return & Refund/Exchange policies instead.

► DELIVERY TIMESCALES
Please note the below timescales are estimates only, and should not be taken as guarantees.

• United Kingdom
Royal Mail, 2nd Class: 5-15 business days
Royal Mail, 1st Class: 1-10 business days
Royal Mail, Special Delivery: 1 business day
DPD: 1 business day

• Europe
Royal Mail, Priority Standard: 5-25 business days
Royal Mail, Priority Tracked: 5-10 business days
FedEx, Expedited: 1-3 business days

• International
Royal Mail, Priority Standard: 10-40 business days
Royal Mail, Priority Tracked: 5-15 business days
FedEx, Expedited: 1-4 business days

► EU VAT & CUSTOMS
• Orders valued less than €150 which are purchased after July 1st 2021 will be charged VAT at the point of sale. You may be charged a Custom's Duty fee depending on your individual countries threshold for importing Goods from the UK is.
• Orders over €150 will not be charged VAT at the point of sale, therefore you will need to pay this to your local authority on delivery. They will contact you directly on how to do this, along with how much there is to pay. You may be charged a Custom's Duty fee depending on your individual countries threshold for importing Goods from the UK is. You may also be charged a Handling Fee by the courier company for importing Goods.
• Please note all of these fees are the responsibility of the Buyer to pay, and Foxes on Boxes Limited will not be liable to pay any charges related to importing into your EU country. We will not reimburse you for the fees you have to pay.
• If you fail to pay for the VAT, Custom's Duty, or Handling fee on your order, the shipping courier will do one of two things; they will send the item back to us, or they will destroy the parcel. Foxes on Boxes Limited is not responsible for replacing packages which have been destroyed due to lack of importing fees from the Buyer.
• If the courier returns the parcel to us, and your items are not personalised, we can do one of two things; 1. Reship the items back to you, but you will need to pay any charges relating to the reshipping of the Goods. 2. We can issue you a refund for the items. Please note, if your items are personalised in any way, we will not issue a refund for Forced Returns.

 

► PRIORITY / RUSH ORDERS
• We have minimum spaces each week for priority dispatch, please send us a message prior to order to check if we have these available.
• We reserve the right to change an additional fee to obtain one of our priority slots.
• We charge between £15 - £30 depending on the amount of work required with your order.

► DIGITAL DOWNLOADS
• You may cancel a personalised digital download order up until the designs have been sent to you, at which point your order is unable to be cancelled and therefore no refunds can be given.
• Orders of instant digital downloads are exempt from refunds.
• Please note, our digital personalised greeting cards do not come with a proofing service, and once you receive the PDF/file from us, we will be unable to make any amendments to your design.
• We are not responsible for the printing finish you receive at another company. Our files are the highest quality PDFs that you can create, and are formatted for printing correctly at 300dpi.
• Our digital files are for personal use only, and reselling or sharing online is strictly prohibited.
